Peanut

So, for my first day experience, it was rather. . . interesting. I guess it wasn't even my first day of work, it was my job interview. I came in a few minutes before my appointment and opened the door to silence. I was a little worried that I was in the wrong place, but then a little dog came running down the hall toward me. I was more than a little surprised to see this in such a formal office setting. From the depths of the office I hear someone call out "Peanut, come back here!" I just kind of laughed because the dog didn't even think twice about being told to come back. As I had my interview and met everyone I was formally introduced to the dog of the queen bee, who was lovingly called Peanut. Come to find out, that wasn't it's name at all. It's real name is Max, but ADD and the bossy one didn't know that so they made one up hoping that it would respond. As it turns out the Queen Bee has a pretty smart little dog, it knows that it's name is not Peanut. After that I've seen Max a couple of times, but we still call him Peanut. I personally think that it fits him a little better, but don't tell the Queen Bee I said that!
